I had a fantastic stay at a hotel in Hakone. The location was amazing, just a short walk away from the beautiful lake, where I captured some stunning pictures. Plus, it was within walking distance to the town, making it convenient for exploring. The room was clean, comfortable, and provided a peaceful retreat after a long day of sightseeing. The highlight of my stay was the relaxing onsen, which helped me unwind and rejuvenate. The staff, especially the English-speaking gentleman, was kind and helpful throughout my visit. I highly recommend this hotel for a road trip weekend away from the city.

This hotel is a hidden gem nestled on a mountain, offering breathtaking views. The staff were incredibly friendly, allowing us to leave our luggage early and providing helpful bus instructions in English. The rooms, especially those on the ground floor, were spacious and well-maintained. The breakfast, served promptly at 8.15am, was a delightful mix of Japanese and Western options, catering to all tastes.
No major issues, everything was more than satisfactory.

We stayed at a hotel during Christmas time and really appreciated the great service provided by the staff. They were very friendly and helpful when we needed assistance with bus directions in English. The breakfast was a highlight as it offered both Western and Japanese options, making it a great start to our day. The onsen was also small but nice and relaxing. It was great that they provided kimonos for us to wear to the spa.
The location of the hotel made it difficult to get to town easily. The bus stop was either a 5 minute walk uphill or downhill.

The hotel is situated in a spectacular location on the mountain, offering wonderful views from the rooms on the ground floor. The staff were friendly and attentive, providing excellent service throughout our stay. The breakfast served at 8.15am was delicious, with a variety of options to choose from.
The only minor drawback was the lighting around the hot spring bath, which could be improved for better visibility.

The Easter holiday at this hotel was fantastic! The rooms were clean and spacious, and the views were breathtaking. The location is great, close to public transport and convenient stores, making it easy for guests to explore the surrounding area. Plus, the hot spring baths were a definite highlight of the stay, offering relaxation and rejuvenation.
The staff could have been more welcoming and attentive. Some of the receptionists were not fluent in English, which made communication difficult.

Located between the bus stops, this hotel is within a short walking distance from the bus stop, making it easy to access different parts of the area. The staff is courteous and responsive, willing to help and recommend things to do and places to visit. The rooms are spacious and clean, and some offer breathtaking views of verdant hills. the hotel offers traditional Japanese-style rooms for a unique experience.
The bathrooms could have been cleaned better.
